Who we are

SEGcore designs, installs and supports Verkada systems across the UK — cameras, access control, intercom, alarms and sensors — as part of The Specialist Electrical Group, an electrical contractor with its own engineers for the cabling, containment and power that a security system actually sits on.

This site exists because of something we kept running into. Customers with expiring Verkada licences had no way of finding out what a renewal costs without ringing somebody, because Verkada publishes its list prices in US dollars — including on its own UK page — and does not let customers renew directly. The only places showing a price were American catalogues quoting dollars and selling non-returnable part numbers without asking a single question about the estate.

So we published the list in pounds, showed the arithmetic, and built a basket that produces a proper renewal schedule. What we deliberately did not build is a checkout, because the accurate answer to “what will this cost?” requires somebody to look at your organisation first. That is the whole product.
