Accessibility
If something on this site does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it.
What we aim for
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. This site was built to that standard rather than retro-fitted to it.
What has been done and checked
Colour contrast is checked automatically on every build; no text on this site falls below the AA contrast threshold, and secondary text is never lighter than #464646 on a light background.
Every image carries alternative text. Every form control has a label. Every page has one level-one heading and a logical heading order.
The site works from the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element and a skip link to the main content. The basket — including the quantity steppers and the term selector — is fully operable by keyboard.
Layout is checked automatically at 1440px and 390px for horizontal overflow. Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content or function.
Prices, totals and the renewal schedule are real text, never images of text.
What has not been done yet
This site has not yet been tested with assistive technology by a disabled user. Automated checking finds a good deal but it does not find everything, and we are not going to claim a conformance statement we have not earned. An assistive-technology test is planned before launch and this page will be updated with the outcome, including anything it finds that we have not fixed.
[assistive technology test - to be commissioned] — this must be resolved before the site goes live.
