Cookies and local storage
Short, because there is not much to say.
We do not set tracking cookies
There is no analytics on this website, no advertising or remarketing tags, no social media pixels and no third-party trackers. Nothing here follows you anywhere.
Because we set no non-essential cookies, no consent banner is required and there is not one. If analytics is added in future, a consent banner and an update to this page will ship in the same release — not afterwards.
We do use local storage, for one thing
Your renewal schedule — the licences you have added, the quantities and the term — is stored in your own browser under the key lr.basket.v1, so that it survives you moving from the basket to the enquiry form.
This is stored on your device. It is not a cookie, it is not transmitted to our servers as you browse, and it is never sent anywhere at all unless you submit the enquiry form. You can remove it at any time with the clear the basket button, or by clearing site data in your browser.
If your browser blocks local storage — in a private window, for example — the site still works. You will simply need to complete the enquiry in one visit.
Third-party requests
When you submit a form, the page attempts a single lookup to a location service so that we can see roughly where an enquiry has come from. If that request is blocked, the enquiry is sent anyway. Form submissions themselves are processed by Netlify, who host this website.
